In July 2005, I had the opportunity to take an advanced Cerec course at the Great Lakes Education Center. At the end, you asked us to provide some feedback. I had a flight to catch and was in a hurry to leave. It was my intent to provide that feedback when I returned home, however that never happened. Three weeks after my return home, I was involved in a serious mountain biking accident which damaged my spinal cord at the T12/Lllevel. The injury, to say the least, rocked my world. At the time, I was uncertain if I would be able to practice dentistry again. In the weeks that followed, unable to move from the waist down, I had a lot of time to read and reviewed all the course handouts and my notes as well as read the Cerec book I purchased at the course. It was my intent to overcome my injury, return to practice and move forward with my new life. I worked hard in rehab and 3 months later returned to practice, albeit at a reduced level. As a paraplegic, I practice from a wheelchair. It was approximately 4 months after taking the course that I did my first Cerec since my accident. Working from my wheelchair using a hand controlled rheostat, I shaved almost an hour off my pre-course time. I have not looked back since! We have made Cerec a large part of our practice and it is fun to see them in the schedule. From smaller inlays, more traditional onlays and most recently E-Max crowns, stained and glazed to match the existing dentition, working with the Cerec has been an exciting and motivating journey. Thanks Mark, for your contribution early on, to provide me the foundation on which to build! I doubt I would be where I am at today with Cerec without the tools you provided! Thanks and I hope to see you some day at another of your courses to thank you in person! Dr. Erik Graham, Hattiesburg, MS Awesome seminar this weekend on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. I've only had CEREC for a few months, but after your seminar I finally understand what the software was actually designed to do. All the secrets that you give are very helpful. I've viewed almost every video from another popular CEREC training center and realize that you are probably the only instructor that fully understands the software and how to produce the best restorations with very little time or effort. Hope to see you in Aruba in November. Dr. Laurie Broome Shields, Moss Point, MS Dr. Shields and staff just finished your seminar this weekend in Biloxi, MS @ the Beau Rivage. Wow, I came away with the best info yet! Have been to other seminars but Kim left our Hygienist Jodi and I with the best info to help empower the office even more. I think I complimented Kim at least 3 times! Dr Shields and assistant Julie also came home with information to share with patients about Cerec. Will have the morning huddle tomorrow with Spirit Fingers!! Thanks again for a great session!! Dr. Morin believes that CEREC Advanced Training cannot be done by one person alone; it has to involve the entire team. However, he also understands the difficulty with travel expenses, especially when bringing the whole team. Therefore, Dr. Morin has created this opportunity for you and your team to experience his one-of-a-kind CEREC Advanced Training Program in your own backyard.
In conjunction with our CEREC Advanced Training, we also train your staff with our Team Building course. Based on the proven principles Dr. Morin applies in his own practice, success with CEREC requires more than just the doctor learning how to perform clinical procedures; your entire team needs to be on the same page. Taught in a separate classroom, your team will learn how to play a key role in the success of your practice. They will also learn language skills necessary to discuss and present CEREC, handle and overcome objections from patients, and successfully file insurance claims for procedures.
